Thank you Gabriele for clearing it up once again! I must confess, I'm quite delighted by the responsiveness and friendliness of this group :)

Yes, as jzb said, FAS is not required for contributing in each group of
the Project.
FAS is useful for keeping track of people involved into groups,
especially in Marketing group, because since long time people used to
subscribe mktg group and then they disappeared.
Because of this, asking for membership and showing commitment is a
way to consider a contributors as active.
Again it doesn't mean, as jzb says, that people can't do works
although not members.
Obviously we'd like people increasing to make this group increasing,
for that we ask to follow the FAS way, joining the group, The Marketing
group will follow the work and then will approve membership.

A couple of times while commenting, I got an interstitial saying that I
was commenting too fast and need to slow down. The first time, I wrote a
one-liner and so maybe didn't hit some some threshold, but the second one
was several paragraphs with thought as I wrote.
I was able to press back and my writing was preserved, but I *did* have to
submit it again. This seems like a pretty bad experience for users.

As Matthew Miller pointed out in ambassadors list[1], it would be great to
have a way to translate his posts into other languages. This would no
require translators to have an WP account, since we could use our wiki to
coordinate the l10n efforts.
The goal is basically to have the possibility to store all languages
alternatives for each post in the same post. After the l10n work is
finished in the wiki, someone should post them in WP.

Be sure to inform the writers of these posts too, so they know of their mistakes. Now we have a somewhat consensus on sentence case for titles, we can fix titles, then inform the writer why they were changed. Nothing worse than having ones post copy edited and updated but not knowing when and why it was changed.

Hi all,
Just wondering if we should consider a brief style guide for Fedora
magazine?
One item to cover on this would definitely be how to capitalize the
titles of our posts. Having this consistent is always a good thing.
For the capitialization of posts, my vote is for sentence case. This
tends to be the most popular currently in online publications [1], [2].
and in my honest opinion, it is not as harsh and shouty as the
alternative title case. Title case is also a lot harder to get
consistent, as many people have different ideas of what to capitalise.
For example, the sentence case is simple, capitalize the first word, and
any proper nouns:
Fedora 21 will feature "Solarized" color schemes in both the Terminal
and Gedit
and the title case (depending on who is writing it) could be:
Fedora 21 will Feature "Solarized" Color Schemes in Both The Terminal
and Gedit
or
Fedora 21 Will Feature "Solarized" Color Schemes in Both The Terminal
and Gedit
cheers,
ryanlerch
