Self Introduction - Brian Monroe
by Brian Monroe
Hello list!
My name is Brian Monroe, and I'm interesting in contributing to Fedora
Magazine as an article author. I've been an ambassador for the last couple
of years, and am involved in the Fedora JAM Lab.
While perusing the Fedora Site a couple of articles caught my eye recently,
in particular the recent GIMP article, and I recognized that some similar
articles for our music community could be beneficial. Particularly some
steps to finalize the setup for JACK and realtime audio requests seems like
good starting point. It's a simple process but one that might get missed
with users/musicians that are new to Fedora or Linux in general. Missing
this step tends to ruin people's experience with the Jam Lab; and I've seen
it sour their experience with Linux in general. We have it well documented
in other places, but the more we can get it out there, the better.

emails from the wordpress instance seem to not be working (IIRC, they have
never worked).
we have a feedback form that regularly gets comments, but we only see them
if someone goes into the feedback page in the admin interface.
i am pretty sure wordpress does send an email here, but for some reason
its not working.
it would also be nice to have emails if a new post is created.
cheers,

"COPR: The road ahead" article status
by Justin W. Flory
Hey all,
In the Magazine meeting tonight, we came across the COPR article in the
queue and weren't sure what the status was on this one. Is this one that
might be ready soon or is it waiting more information? If the latter, we
can slide it into the holding pen until it's ready.
Thanks!

Re: [Developer-portal] Re: Preparing a new release of Fedora Developer Portal - asking for feedback
by Petr Hracek
Hi Jean-Baptiste,
it seems, we have first candidate for translation [1].
Especially Spanish.
Although I have mentioned, Fedora Developer Portal should be only in
English, I have to be more open.
In case, folks are interested to have portal in several languages we
have to do it. Definitely.
You mentioned tools like Zanata and Fedora Foundation.
Whom shall we contact?
What should be next steps for initiate translation Fedora Developer
Portal to other languages.
Like Czech;)
Shall we create a ticket somewhere?
