Hey all,
As we're getting ready to buckle down and get the release announcement
and final promotional materials together for Fedora 24's release... we
need to nail down the theme for this release.
Not the list of features or the versions updated, I'm talking about an
over-arching theme for the release.
* What is Fedora 24 "about" for the project?
* If you had to explain the importance of this release in 60 seconds or
less, what would you focus on?
* What does this release, specifically, offer users that's unique?
Thoughts? Feel free to reach out to other workgroups and ask for their
input!
Best,
jzb

Hi everybody,
My name is José Fournier. Two months ago, I joined the Fedora
Community as a translator into the French language. Since then I have
translated a significant amount of documentation (roughly the whole
Installation Guide) and many wiki pages. I have also written some
wiki pages of my own to help the translation teams accomplish their
work more easily.
Recently, I was invited by one of the French team coordinators to
write some articles for the Fedora Magazine about this action, thus I
would be glad to be granted access to the Fedora Magazine WordPress
admin interface for creation and edition of posts.
With kind regards
José
Hey,
I noticed the Fedora Project needs writers, so I'd like to volunteer my skills. Part of my past work is to be found here : http://how-to.linuxcareer.com/rares-aioanei plus articles in the Linux Gazette and linuxconfig.org. I'm also part of the Fedora QA team, although I admit that I haven't been active in the past months. As I said, I'd like to help, but due to $day_job my time is somehow limited. Looking forward to get started!

Hello All,
The changes discussed in last Thursday's meeting have been made to the
Diaspora article. They are as follows:
* Added a quick step-by-step process to sign up.
* Added a screenshot of Fedora's diaspora page (which also shows
account info)
* ridgemat is working on a featured image for the post.
Additionally, the following changes have been made:
* A screenshot of the sign-up page has been added.
* The backslash has been re-added to the second occurrence of
'diaspora*', escaping the second asterisk. The backslash doesn't show
up in the post preview, and omitting it will cause everything between
those two asterisks to be italicized in said preview.
You can preview the article here: https://fedoramagazine.org/?p=12844&p
review_id=12844
If you have any suggestions, please let me know and I'll wrap this up
over the weekend.
Best,
James

Thanks

I finished editing (and slightly expanding) the call for writers
article by Remy. I also created a featured image. It's ready to
publish on Monday 2016-May-23 at 0800 UTC.
Ryan, can you do the honors of promoting it on social media once it's
out?
