New article proposition
by Sylvia Sánchez
Hello all!
I'm thinking about writing a new article with security tips and
advises for the general user. Things like what is safe to do in
public machines (cyber caffe, schools, etc.), what does really means
when Firefox shows a warning, and so.
I'd love to start writing but I can't login. The
fedoramagazine.org/admin provided by Eduard (if I remember
correctly) here in the list doesn't work. It returns a 404 error.
I'm unable to find a login button so... what should I do? What I need
to do to write?
Cheers and thanks in advance,
Sylvia

Hey Saurabh, just ported it over to the Magazine. We will work on
getting it polished up and published very soon. Thanks for writing!
Here's a preview link for viewing the article in the meanwhile:

Hey Courtney! Thanks for taking the time for writing these up and
putting them on our radar.
At the weekly Magazine editorial board meeting tonight, we reviewed the
content you had so far and thought it would all be excellent for the
Magazine (in fact, a lot of us were interested in learning more about
the topic too)!
Having this lined up as a three-part series to go out weekly would work
well for our publishing schedule. If you could work on taking the
content you have so far and creating three separate articles in the
Fedora Magazine WordPress interface, this would be helpful for us and we
can work on getting them ready to publish.
If you have any questions, let us know and we can lend a hand. Thanks
again for thinking of the Magazine for this series. :)

Limited Updates on Diaspora Account of Fedora
by Tummala Dhanvi
Hello Marketing team,
We have a Diaspora Account in https://diasp.org/u/fedora but the
updates in that account are very low when compared to the other social
media accounts.
Also most of the latest updates that were posted in the account are
not posted as public but just to limited people, so every one can't
see the updated only a handful of people that are friends of fedora
can see the updates.
There are ways to connect other social media accounts to Diaspora (so
that if a update is posted in other accounts it automatically get's
posted in diaspora)
diasp.org supports twitter,tumblr and wordpress.
I am also ready to help you guys if you need any help maintaining the
Diaspora account.

[Magazine] Review first step to write in the magazine
by Eduard Lucena
Hi team,
Normally we receive the newcomers with a welcome email providing some
guides as how start writing to the magazine.
Now, viewing some emails i'm getting notice that we have some task pending
in this, for example there are 2 completely differents articles about
writing:
https://fedoramagazine.org/write-for-the-fedora-magazine/
https://fedoramagazine.org/writing-an-article-for-the-fedora-magazine/
Other issue I bring up in other thread was about content. There isn't a
guideline about what is allowed and what isn't (regarding is talking about
FOSS or no FOSS, legal or no legal, if a software can be installed from
official repo).
The wiki pages should be updated too, because normally we guide new
contributors to the wiki, and they can get to the wiki pages that have
outdated info:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Magazine
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Magazine/Howtopost
I thing we can discuss this in the meeting and assign actions to take, and
IMHO the right moment is now, that we are receiving a lot of contributors.
Best Regards,

Hey all!
This week's meeting was fully packed. The big topics were the password
sharing discussion (which now has swapped gears towards finding tools
that puiterwijk could modify a FAS log in for and use tokens instead of
passwords), the talking points for F25, and then a NEW MEETING TIME!!
The new meeting time will get its own email. But for now, read the
