I don't think our users make that distinction much.  Popular bloggers have a lot of clout in our community, more than we usually give them credit for.  Whether or not, that is warranted is a different debate but we cannot ignore the potential impact such negative reviews have on the users who are taking a wait and see approach towards new releases.   I think there are some amount of valid criticisms that we can take into account and fix for the next release.  When we do that, we should advertise it enough so users are aware that there is a feedback loop in place.  I do appreciate the work already being done in these areas.
