Yeah. Magazine posts aren't.
We could have a screenshot tour with language specific screenshots on
an additional page on the website itself, but that'll mean setting up a
new page that will have to be maintained and updated per release.
I'm also not at all confident if we'll be able to manage screenshots in
all the languages that the site is translated into. It *may* just be
possible if we pick a really small set of screenshots, but if we have
as many as this[1] per language, it's going to be quite difficult.
(zoglesby told us in the irc channel that this was why the docs didn't
have too many screenshots either - they're supposed to be translated
into 44 languages or thereabouts.)

Also, one can get confused if your desktop doesn't match the screenshot.
We all like to tweak :)
Anyway, screenshots seem popular, a lot of tech bloggers out in the wild do
nothing but, so people apparently look for them. I wonder, though - where
are images served from? Could they come from a proxied location to save
load on the WP instance?
