here's another try with the dolphin. It's not worked out yet, so it's just the idea, which counts. The dolphin should look like an F. What do you think about that?
As Jesse pointed out, dolphins are already mascots for MySQL (see http://www.mysql.com/ if you haven't already), so they're probably not a great idea for Fedora.
