hi all,

I have just polished up the post on the magazine for the the new feature in Fedora 24: Graphical upgrades. It is kind of short, but hopefully it is to the point, and pretty sure it covers most of the points about this new exciting feature.

is anyone able to take a look at the copy for me?

Also, in the article, I talk about being able to update to 24 from 23 using the updated gnome-software in F23, but this package is not in Fedora 23 yet, and wondering if we should hold off on posting this until we are certain that it will make it into Fedora 23...

Well the FESCO ticket tracking it is here:

https://fedorahosted.org/fesco/ticket/1576

According to that, even if it is not ready by GA, it'll be enabled shortly (week or so) after GA ... so it'll definitely still be a F24 change rather than F25  but just a little bit later than release day itself perhaps.

But then many users are a little conservative in when they update anyway due to 0-day bugs in the past (hello loss of selinux customization, that was a pain).
