If Plex won't pass perhaps Emby would.  They are both similar with Emby being FOSS I believe

Other than the Plex software everything should be available with DNF. The Plex Media Server isn't FOSS though and there's third-party executables included with the installer that is licensed through Plex. I can write something else if that's a problem. I like Netdata on Github and could write about that too. Luckily there's no lack of news in the Linux world.
