All:
To prepare for the anticipated release of Fedora 25, we have started the process of drafting the Fedora 25 release announcement and press release.
The release announcement[1] needs the most input. I have based it on the Fedora 25 beta release announcement and will be going through the document today to clean up any obvious beta mentions. Members of each workgroup should focus on:
* Additional features to highlight that were not in the beta announcement * Important stories that you think this announcement should be telling * Particular focus on the change from "Cloud" to "Atomic."
The press release is templated from the Fedora 24 press release[2] and will be revised based on the release announcement.
Therefore, the priority is on the release announcement, and feedback should be given to that document by close of business (2100 UTC) November 7, 2016.
Thank you, Brian Proffitt

Hey Brian, thanks for starting this thread. However, I can't see any links at the bottom of the email – were they cut off? I'll definitely be sure to give them a look before the end-of-day on Nov. 7.

I hope i am not late in this thread. In Beta announcement couple of i18n must have features were missing. I have added those features in talking points [5] Specifically "*Emoji input *and *Unicode 9.0*"
I see two future posts in Magazine - * Fedora 25 released! * What’s new in Fedora 25 Workstation
Dont know, i cant view those post but please check whether above features are covered in it or not.
Thanks, Pravin

Thanks for adding this feedback, Pravin! I think we discussed this in IRC and decided we would edit in the points about emoji input and Unicode. We'll be sure to include mention of them for the general release announcement. Thanks again!

Again, the Release Announcement is the key.

Hi Brian, there is one major enhancement in Workstation missing and that's much improved support for switchable graphics cards. That should definitely make it to the release announcement. More info: https://blogs.gnome.org/uraeus/2016/11/01/discrete-graphics-and-fedora- workstation-25/
I think the MP3 decoding support is also big news. The codec is not part of the default installation, but it's in the repositories and users can get it without enabling any 3rd party repositories: https://blogs.gnome.org/uraeus/2016/11/10/mp3-support-now-coming-to-fed ora-workstation-25/
