Hi Sumantro!
Somehow, this email was lost in my inbox and I'm only just now seeing it. Super sorry for the late response, but I think we can get you bootstrapped and familiar with how the Magazine works. I'm going to include the Marketing mailing list in my reply so the rest of the team can know that you are interested in writing too.
Firstly, when getting started with writing for the Magazine, you should check out this great intro post about how to write for the Magazine.
https://fedoramagazine.org/writing-an-article-for-the-fedora-magazine/
This page has a lot of details and pointers for getting started you may find useful. Something that page mentions is writing a pitch for your article. A pitch is the first step for writing for the Magazine, and it's how the rest of the editing team can get the gist of what you're writing about. A link explaining how to write the pitch is below.
https://fedoramagazine.org/writing-a-new-pitch/
Hopefully this should be enough to get you started. Seems like we probably missed the test day, but for any future articles you want to write about, we'd be happy to see anything you come up with! If you have questions, please let us know. If you need help resolving your mailing list issues, you can reply directly to me in an email - otherwise, try to use the public mailing list.
Sorry again for the late response, and welcome!

No issues at all. It will be awesome to work with you and the whole team. I have drafted a post at https://fedoramagazine.org/release-validation-testing-fedora/ Can anyone review it?

Hey Sumantro! Thanks for sending this over. I just went ahead and edited the article now. This looks awesome to me! It did a good job of explaining the process to a beginner.
Here is a public preview of the article post-editing.

If this looks good to you, please let us know and we'll see about getting it out soon. The next steps is for one of the others on the editing team to create a featured image for the article at the top (like the other articles on the Magazine).
Thanks again for writing!

Hey All
I found that Fedora QA didn't have a right from scratch contribution guide to help new comers start their contribution right away. Hence, I thought of writing a series of articles which will help just anyone to start with their contribution to Fedora QA in a jiffy. I have written the following series and I would request someone to help me out with the review.
Getting started with Fedora QA part 1 [1] https://fedoramagazine.org/getting-started-fedora-qa-part-1/ Getting started with Fedora QA part 2 [2] https://fedoramagazine.org/getting-started-fedora-qa-part-2/ Getting started with Fedora QA part 3 [3] https://fedoramagazine.org/getting-started-fedora-qa-part-3/

Justin & Sumantro,
Only thing I see that might be better as an edit to the relval article is popout images for the thumbnail images given AND mentioning that the relval size-check was the test case you chose as the screenshots are hard to read as is.
Sumantro,
As a QA due myself I will look over your proposed 3 additional articles for sanity and leave typo and grammar final passes to Justin or someone else :)

I've made edits to the p1/p2 articles of your proposed series (the third was just fine), most of the edits were typos or readability. Nice series line up btw. I did add a comment in the second article about easy-karma package and i will leave it to you to either elaborate on it in that or the 3rd article or as a separate article.

Hey Corey!
It will be awesome to have it reviewed by you :) As for the reval article yes, I second your thoughts !
Thanks Sumantro
I've made edits to the p1/p2 articles of your proposed series (the third was just fine), most of the edits were typos or readability. Nice series line up btw. I did add a comment in the second article about easy-karma package and i will leave it to you to either elaborate on it in that or the 3rd article or as a separate article.

Thanks Sumantro

Thanks for sending this over. I just went ahead and edited the article now. This looks awesome to me! It did a good job of explaining the process to a beginner.
Here is a public preview of the article post-editing.
https://fedoramagazine.org/?p=13104&preview=1&_ppp=9341071f57If this looks good to you, please let us know and we'll see about getting it out soon. The next steps is for one of the others on the editing team to create a featured image for the article at the top (like the other articles on the Magazine).
Thanks again for writing!

Justin & Sumantro,
Only thing I see that might be better as an edit to the relval article is popout images for the thumbnail images given AND mentioning that the relval size-check was the test case you chose as the screenshots are hard to read as is.

Justin,
Barring any typos I missed Sumantro's RelVal / first 3 proposed QA articles are solid, and in my opinion ready for a publish this week.
