I have created a new SIG (Special Interest Group) to try to solve, this time in a more formal way, our swag problems. A basic page is up on the wiki that talks about some initial workflow questions, etc.

If you are willing to commit some time to helping with this problem, feel free to sign yourself up. I have taken the liberty of adding Mairin Duffy and Jack Aboutboul to the SIG -- the former because she asked me to devote some time to this problem and the latter because I have decided that I want him involved. ;)
I am purposefully using fedora-marketing-list for the email instead of starting Yet Another Email List.
We will have a kick-off meeting on Wednesday in the #fedora-marketing channel on IRC, at 18:00 GMT. For your own time zone, see http://tinyurl.com/2g37uv
Thank you, Max
Max, You can count me in definitely! We've talked about this a bit, and I ranted a bit about it at lunch last year. Please add me to this SIG!
Just realized my signature didn't appear on the above message. My Wiki/Ambassador name is LeeJoseph (in case you didn't remember). I've been having mail/signature issues since we dropped real names from fedoraproject.org and fedora.redhat.com email.

Its rare that I actually reply to anything on these lists as I have little time to commit. However, because this is one of my areas of interest (more than others), I'd like to help get the message out there as well. Fedora has needed this for some time and I am glad to see it becoming reality.
Thanks Max!
One product I would like to see come from this (as well as help make happen) is an Ambassador Kit which has been talked about before. I'm not sure if I should have posted this as a new message in Marketing or as a reply to the original message. Sorry for any inconvenience in advance.

I'm thinking this should be a separate thread, since this would probably not be something we would sell.
BTW, Jeffrey Tadlock worked a bit on this a year or so ago, which you might want to add your thoughts to: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Ambassadors/EventBox
