Hi Josef,
We love the idea for the Developers Portal article and will be happy to publish it in the Fedora Magazine. Can you tell us when the site will actually go live? It doesn't look like it's up yet.
This way we can plan for the review/publishing timeline. Thanks in advance!
Hi,
as soon as possible, just waiting on production machine. We will be ready today. Original plan is Fedora 23 release.
My article is sort-of ready, I just wanted to make a screenshot of final site and include it in the article.
Best Josef

I'm out of cycles for Magazine editing after tomorrow, so it would be really helpful if another skilled English fascist ;-) could take this on.
I can take care of editing for the article tomorrow.

Hi all,
I have just done some preliminary editing to the Developer Portals article and the article can be previewed here:
http://fedoramagazine.org/?p=10476&preview_id=10476
If anything major stands out, let me know, otherwise we can look at it on Thursday and look at setting a publication date for it, if the launch of the Developer Portal is known at this time.

One thing that is unclear to me from this post is:
Is the developer portal for *Developers of Fedora* or *Developers that use Fedora*? I know the second likely includes the first, so it is is the second, we need to make that clear.
And also some more coverage and or some examples on the information contained (or will be contained) in the portal would be good too.

It is the second. Developers that use Fedora, but don't necessarily develop Fedora itself / contribute to Fedora itself.

Yep. Second, I will update the post a bit more.

I made clear to rephrase it the way it is intended for people *running* Fedora either as dev machine or in virtual environment to develop their projects.
I also included screenshot and header image, hope its fine. Feel free to improve it if you like.
I am still unsure if we will be able to successfully release it tomorrow. Who could publish it without scheduling to exact time?

Josef,
If it's early in the morning your time, you can reach out to Ryan on IRC. If it's in the afternoon/evening, you can contact me. We'll be happy to help.
Awesome, thanks for your work on this article, Josef! I have just given the article a final edit and it should be ready to publish when the portal is live.
ryanlerch has also a pretty article cover image ready to go for it too, so it should be ready to publish whenever. As far as best time to publish it, the best people to contact would be Paul or Ryan - I'm pretty sure there's some planning involved for what times and what days are best for publishing new content.

I'm waiting on confirmation from the developer portal folks now. There were some technical issues to overcome today but hopefully I'll be able to push this live shortly.
