I'm the department conatct for ECE, where FUDCon will be held.  We've got 
enough space, and may be getting some more.

Please let me know what you need.  I'll work on finding some directions 
and other basics.

What open items do we have on the list?  Here's mine:

1. Get table skirt and t-shirts shipped to Jack.  Should be done today.

2. Get the "official" press release out.  Still waiting on legal, and my 
sincere apologies.

Items that I'm guessing we still need to work on:

1. Get the agendas for both days finalized.  

2. Get food for Friday squared away.

3. Teleconferencing?

4. Get maps to the site printed?

5. Clean up the wiki so it looks like a "professional" conference site 
with all the requisite info?

Okay, not a worry, as long as they can get it done by the week

I think its pretty much final save for the two slots. Matt might still
be giving a talk, so lets see how that goes

With some wonderful PHP (i.e. the includes that we use throughout
*.f.r.c), I suggest we also have http://fedora.redhat.com/ have
something under the marketing section for FUDCon

As I've said, I have computers, a firewire video camera, and bandwidth.  
I don't know how to do it myself, but the ingredients are there.

Good news:

It looks like we will have a dedicated snack/food room, and we have a 
*third* confrence room for the whole day.  They will be on three different 
floors in the same building.

PLEASE NOTE:  

We currently have no public wireless access as it is restricted to VPN.  
We are looking at an option for that.  In the mean time, we have wall 
sockets and switches.

Update on food:

It looks like we will host a continental breakfast and then soda and water 
in the afternoon.  Menus and maps to numerous restraunts within a few 
blocks will be posted for lunch and dinner.

Update on rooms:

Room 203:  70 people, multi-level lecture format, projector, wireless mic.

Room 307:  40 people, lab layout format, BU Linux (Fedora) 
computers, projectors, wireless mic.

Room 428:  20 people, tables and chairs.  We can provide a portable 
projector.

Room 442:  12 people, confrence table.  This room may be used for 
food/coffee.  Not sure yet.
