Hi,
I tried to view a link to a marketing team ticket and was given an error message that marketing team tickets are private and require login / privileges to view.
Why is this? A lot of the other Fedora trac tickets I use (eg design-team, badges) are public to read.

You wouldn't want marketing to reach everybody, would you?
Oh, wait...
Um, seriously - no idea. They should be public. I don't think there's many instances where we need a private ticket for marketing.
Best,

I think when it comes to trac, a variant of Hanlon's razor applies: Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by trac's insane maze of configuration.
("Trac: the issue tracking system with more configuration options than features!")
I will look into this, not sure what changed as this is the first complaint in a long time about the trac.

Try again now -- I believe I've fixed this. (I just happened to run across this email, and have the permissions to do so.)
