Dear all,
Orthanc, an open-source, lightweight, scriptable DICOM store that is part of Debian Med [1], has applied to Zénobe Award 2013.
This year, this Belgian prize rewards social innovation [2, page 6]. Thanks to the fact that it is an open-source product, to the fact that it is already used in some hospitals to freely automate medical imaging flows, and to the fact that this social need is currently not sufficiently addressed by proprietary solutions, Orthanc is considered as an example of social innovation. Obtaining this prize would allow us to pursue its free development.
If you think that our project deserves it, you can vote online to support Orthanc at Zénobe Award 2013 until October 15th [3].
Voting only takes a few seconds: Just fill up your first name, your last name, and your email in the pink box, then click on the "Votez pour ce projet" button. We thank you much in advance for your support!
Cheers, Sébastien-
