How to install MinGW to Fedora

Dear all,
        I am a new person in MinGW and Fedora,and have installed a fedora9 in 
the Vmware,I want to install MinGW to the fedora,would you please tell me how to 
step to step?thanks a lot！

Fedora 9 has been end-of-life and unsupported for a very long
time now. You should first install something that is up2date,
such sa Fedora 14. Once you've got that, you can easily pull
in the mingw packages by running the following as root.

# yum install mingw*
