Fedora Release Engineering
Hi Folks. It's been a few months since we started the cleanup/upgrades
of our mirror servers(mirror.rackspace.com) and at this point we've
become interested in requesting to become a Tier 1 mirror. We have 6
environments globally that include multiple web heads per region all
registered to MirrorManager. These locations include:
We currently pull content from one Tier 1 upstream location and
replicate the content globally on our own networks so if we are set up
as a Tier 1 mirror we wouldn't be hammering the Tier 0 master mirror
servers from 6 different locations.
Thanks and feel free to reach out if any further information is needed.
can we maybe delete Fedora 28 from masters, since 30 is current stable
and it should be sufficient to keep 29 around I guess? That would free
up some space.
