Correct, Red Hat I/S does not use the MirrorManager ACL list (yet).
Copying them.
Download-i2 is currently offline (no reason given, no ETA). :-( once
that is fixed, static routes between that server and all downstream
mirrors are necessary, so we don't encourage it's use. Instead,
fedora-archives.ibiblio.org is a "Tier 0" mirror, on the same NCREN ring
as download-i2. I recommend syncing from there. Copying Don Sizemore
to be sure you can be on the private rsync ACL for that server.
Thanks,
Matt

Subject: mirror change
We had to change our mirror address
linux.nssl.noaa.gov (129.15.110.75).
The Name is the same, just the IP address changed. I have not been
able
to sync with
download(x).fedora.redhat.com after the change.
I get:
[root@statler mirror]# /usr/local/bin/rsync -vaH
--exclude-from=/export/home/brett/mirror/redhat.exclude --numeric-ids
--delete --address=192.168.2.72 download.fedora.redhat.com::fedora-web/
/export/mirror/linux.nssl.noaa.gov/fedora/web
rsync: read error: Connection reset by peer (104)
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(759)
[receiver=3.0.6]
Which I would assume is an ACL error. I did update us in the mirror
manager and hoped that would fix
it, but I let if go over the weekend and it did not change. Could this
be fixed and could I get access to
download-i2.fedora.redhat.com?
Thank you
-Brett
