Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding mirror manager information about our mirror. In december we had a HW failure on our mirror and we probably got disabled from mirror list (if it wasn’t disabled even earlier). As I see it on e.g. RockyLinux MirrorManager, it has to be manually reenabled again. We still keep mirror data-wise, but we are not serving any traffic = wasted space.

Could you please tell us, what administrative account (if any) is used for mirror ftp.sh.cvut.cz (to know whom to contact to get access or how to login to mirror manager) or if we should create new account to administer our mirror participance?

The mirror is disabled since early December 2021 and I just re-enabled
it. Pavel Dostal is listed as admin.

The listed URLs look wrong and it does not look like it ever worked
correctly.

 *  http://ftp.sh.cvut.cz
 *  rsync://ftp.sh.cvut.cz

Non of the URLs point to the epel directory on your mirror.

Thanks for confirmation and re-enabling, but we aren’t able to restore access for the MirrorManager account due to unknown email address (or it is dropping to spam or whatsoever). If you could change that account email address to alias [e-mail], it would be perfect. Pavel Dostal is also on this alias and in CC for confirmation.

Yes that is for sure wrong. Correct https URL is https://ftp.sh.cvut.cz/fedora-epel/ and http+rsync respectively in same manner /fedora-epel/.

If you are able to re-activate Pavel's account it should be possible for
you to add additional admins to your MirrorManager entry.

Trying to access rsync://ftp.sh.cvut.cz/fedora-epel/ fails with:

@ERROR: chroot failed

The rsync has been fixed. Is there something else we may or should do?
