ICA CON 2016, the 4th International IBM Cloud Academy Conference, will provide an exciting opportunity for educators and researchers to share ideas and experiences in cloud computing. The conference is open to both K-12 and higher education institutions already implementing cloud technologies and services, or considering doing so.
The program will include invited keynotes, technical papers, position papers, workshops and a technology showcase. The technical papers portion of the conference program will feature experience reports and original research papers. The technology showcase will feature poster presentations and demonstrations on cloud computing research or implementations in progress. Selected papers from the conference proceedings will be published as a special edition of the International Journal of Cloud Computing (IJCC; see http://www.ibm.com/links/?prompt=1&url=http://www.inderscience.com/browse/index.php?journalCODE=ijcc http://www.inderscience.com/ jhome.php?jcode=ijcchttp://www.inderscience.com/jhome.php?jcode=ijcc ).
ICA CON 2016 will be an excellent venue for presenting original work, exchanging new ideas, embracing cloud technologies, sharing results and experiences, and networking with other leading institutions who are already implementing cloud solutions.

A range of topics relevant to cloud computing in education, government and research are of interest, including (but not limited to) the ones below.

At least one author for each accepted paper should register and present at the conference.
Submissions will be managed through EasyChair (http://www.easychair.org/https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf%3Dicacon2016). Initial short paper submissions (extended abstracts) should be 2-4 pages long and authors should indicate the preferred mode of presentation (presentation or poster).
All submissions will be peer reviewed by three domain experts from among those listed on the Technical and other Committees given below. Authors of selected papers / presentations will be selected and invited to have work published in a special issue of the International Journal of Cloud Computing (IJCC; see http://www.ibm.com/links/?prompt=1&url=http://www.inderscience.com/browse/index.php?journalCODE=ijcc http://www.inderscience.com/ jhome.php?jcode=ijcchttp://www.inderscience.com/jhome.php?jcode=ijcc ).
