We had reports that the Fedora mirror mirror.umd.edu is hanging for some users. I can also see that the last rsync scan of your Fedora mirror took over 6 hours. Somethings seem to hang or are very slow.
I disabled your Fedora mirror for now. Once you had a chance to look if there are any problems you can re-enabled your mirror in MirrorManager again or let me know, I can also re-enable it again.
Thanks for supporting Fedora.

Connecting to https://mirror.umd.edu/ with a browser gives a warning as some parts are still transmitted via HTTP. This is unrelated to the Fedora mirror.
Adrian,
Thanks for the report. We are currently investigating a possible hardware issue that came up overnight.

Adrian,
I believe that our mirror is working properly again. I am not sure which of us has access to MirrorManager, so I'd appreciate if you can re-enable it.
Thanks, Moshe

Somebody already enabled your mirror and the crawler was able to verify the content without problems. Thanks.

A cursory look at mirror.umd.edu shows that you have fedora/linux/{releases,updates} and fedora/releases /fedora/releases aka you have a dup ( well partial on the root of the mirror. this may have been part of the initial mirror issue. I would also like to request adding /fedora/pub/alt/live-respins (generally 10-15gb of Disk space needed). I am one of the Project maintainers for the Fedora Live Respins and would have been nice to have the updated Images on the local mirror for students at teh recent Bitcamp and other hackathons like the upcoming Technica, and even year round, nearest University Mirrors that carry the respins that I'm aware of are VT and RIT/MIT.
Much Appreciated regardless of ability to honor this request, for the support of Fedora with the content you presently have.
