Dear all,
TLDR: Please allow me to introduce the new mirror I've set up:
Hostname: repo.jing.rocks Geolocation: Tokyo, JP Bandwidth: 10Gbit/s IPv4: yes IPv6: yes Admin contact: me <this email> or see MOTD of rsync URL: [fedora-enchilada] http://repo.jing.rocks/fedora-project/fedora https://repo.jing.rocks/fedora-project/fedora rsync://repo.jing.rocks/fedora-enchilada
[fedora-epel] http://repo.jing.rocks/fedora-project/epel https://repo.jing.rocks/fedora-project/epel rsync://repo.jing.rocks/fedora-epel
More info: This mirror is hosted in a homelab with residential 10Gbps internet connection, so traffic doesn't cost money. If you wonder about the monthly cost of my home internet, that's about US$45/month and US$5/month one static IPv4 address add-on, with the current exchange rate USD-JPY about 1:145.
I also plan to mirror the fedora buffet (including the archive) once my other server with spinning rust ZFS pools is brought online again.
I must say setting up and understanding the whole quick-fedora-mirror scripts were not easy, compared to many other distros I mirror, like Debian or Arch. But I did it, so yay.
Thank you for your trust and support.
BR,
