EPEL 10 synchronization issues on multiple Japanese mirrors

Dear Mirror Administrators,

I would like to report synchronization issues affecting multiple Japanese
EPEL mirrors for EPEL 10.

Issue: The atop package (published on 2025-06-03) is missing from several
Japanese mirrors after nearly 2 months.

Affected mirrors:
- Yamagata University:
http://ftp.yz.yamagata-u.ac.jp/pub/linux/fedora-projects/epel/10.0/Everythin...
- RIKEN:
https://ftp.riken.jp/Linux/fedora/epel/10.0/Everything/x86_64/Packages/a/
- IIJ:
https://ftp.iij.ad.jp/pub/linux/Fedora/epel/10.0/Everything/x86_64/Packages/...

The package is available on the main repository:
https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/10/Everything/x86_64/Packages/a/

This affects AlmaLinux 10 users in Japan who rely on these mirrors for EPEL
packages.

Thanks for the report, but you are comparing /10/ with /10.1/. If you
look on the Japanese mirrors in the 10.1 directory you will see the
correct content.

The setup is a bit complicated, but I think 10 is a link to 10.1 and 10z
is a link to 10.0. If you are using AlmaLinux 10 you should be using 10z
(10.0).

Thank you very much for your detailed explanation about the EPEL 10 directory structure. You are absolutely correct, and I apologize for the confusion.

You were right - I was comparing different versions:
- Main site: /10/ (which links to 10.1)  
- Mirrors: /10.0/

Since I'm running AlmaLinux 10, I should indeed be using 10z (10.0) as you suggested, not the /10/ directory. After checking the correct paths for AlmaLinux 10 (/10z/ and /10.0/ on both main site and mirrors), I can confirm that the Japanese mirrors are properly synchronized.

I now understand the EPEL 10 directory structure:
- 10 → 10.1 (latest minor version for RHEL)
- 10z → 10.0 (base version for CentOS Stream/AlmaLinux)

Sorry for the false alarm about mirror synchronization issues.

Actually you have that slightly off:
10 -> 10.1 is for CentOS Stream
10z -> 10.0 is for the current minor version of RHEL/AlmaLinux/Rocky/etc

at some point before 10.1 is released by RHEL, 10z will point to 10.1 and a
10.2 will be created which will be what CentOS Stream is pointing to.

Are you using the repository definition from the epel-release package?
Then this should all happen automatically.
