We are seeing an increased number of clients from all over the world that are using our mirror, from a daily 100-200mbps AVG, we how got 800-900mbps AVG via transit providers. Is there something wrong in the mirror algo as of today?

I am not aware of any problems. Can you tell us which data the clients are accessing (EPEL, Fedora, versions).
Looking at different releases I see the normal amount of mirrors being returned.

Here at ftp.fi.muni.cz/ftp.linux.cz we don't see any difference in today's traffic rate compared to last week/last month: average about 250-300 Mbit/s with spikes up to 1.5-2 Gbit/s (5-min average).

I also do not see any unusual traffic on my mirror.
The only idea I currently have is that because of the upcoming F34 release which has daily changes to the master mirror including multiple ISOs mirrors just require more time to sync and maybe your mirror is faster doing the master syncs and so the crawler detects your mirror is up to date while other mirrors are still syncing.

Thank you for your response, that could be the issue.
Our mirror is [mirrors.chroot.ro http://mirrors.chroot.ro/] is still seeing 700mbps traffic at average
