Dear you,
I downloaden the following torrent: http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/torrents//Fedora-12-i686-Live.torrent
And got a hash mismatch. See attachment.
But i was under the impression torrented files could not easily get corrupted due to the fact the torrent already contain a hash. Whats going on?
Migaaresno.
Please see the note in red at the top of this page: https://fedoraproject.org/en/verify
The hash is actually SHA256, not SHA1.

Hi, the hash for Fedora ISOs is a sha256 hash, not sha1. The "SHA1" in the checksum file refers to the hash used to sign the file, not the type of the hashes contained in it.
Thanks, Ricky
