Its not an Alsa problem. The motherbard chip works fine. It is a problem with pulse
bridging to Jack. Studio controls didn't recognize the right address. I could
correctly set it up from the commandline. I'm hoping that pipewire does away with the
need for such a bridge

Then you should check if alsa has got a module for your card IMHO, it's
not a job for pipewire, pulse or jack.
