I'm not sure who put it there, but I very frequently use Inkscape as a
"post-
processing tool" when I've finished with LilyPond. Some things are much
easier
with Inkscape than LilyPond.
Well that sounds like a use case, especially if it augments something that is needed. Was wondering if it had wandered in by mistake.

Inkscape is also very useful for making album artwork. Not something directly (or at all) related to music production but...
