Hi:
If I understand you correctly, we:
(A) already have that (see link below), and
(B) are not supposed to have it.
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora/16/html/Musicians_Guide/chap-...
Official Fedora documentation is only supposed to document packages in
the official Fedora repository. If we followed that rule, the
SuperCollider, Qtractor, and real-time kernel chapters would not be
allowed.
In the future, once SuperCollider and Qtractor make it to the official
Fedora repository, I will remove everything about Planet CCRMA at
Home. The only reason we have non-Fedora software now is that I didn't
know about the rule until after the Guide was published. And because
nobody told me to remove it.
What we can do is replace the "Planet CCRMA" chapter with a
"non-Fedora software" chapter. We can explain what software exists in
other repositories, and include a link to the Fedora Wiki. On the
Fedora Wiki, we *can* provide instructions for installing non-Fedora
software (as on the Flash page, for example).
It's not the most straight-forward solution for users, but I think
it's workable. Does anybody else have an alternate suggestion?
Christopher.

After going through the music digest volumes I believe that some
of the packages might not make it to the official repository due
to Fedora Packaging Guidelines and some of them might be really
good.
I do not know if there is a provision for providing additional
details in Fedora Musicians guide for those packages that does not
make it to the official repository.
If there is a possibility, then for those packages we can make
entries to the musicians guide which will provide additional
resources and methodologies to build and run those packages on
their system which will inturn reduce there hassles.
Again, we can provide details about the script(or its DE frontend)
and its consequences in the musicians guide if it allows.
