Hi all,
here's some new LV2 plugins up for review. If any packagers could review these that would be great (very simple reviews).
lv2-newtonator - an LV2 soft synth using velocity and [1][2] lv2-triceratops - An LV2 polyphonic synthesizer [3][4] lv2-fomp-plugins - 13 plugins by Fons Adraenson ported from LADSPA [5][6]
Triceratops is pretty awesome, although under heavy development.
Minaton coming soon, just waiting on an update form upstream.
regards,
Brendan

Brendan sent an email to the spins wrangler last week, we still have not heard back. The last official word was pretty much "keep your fingers crossed, but no guarantees"

I recommend using jalv.gtk to instantiate it. I am having some touble getting the GTK GUI to work properly in Qtractor.
For example (this requires jalv-gtk, lilv to be installed)
fedora18:~ $ lv2ls|grep triceratops http://nickbailey.co.nr/triceratops fedora18:~ $ jalv.gtk http://nickbailey.co.nr/triceratops
Not sure about other hosts.
Here's a scratch build for rawhide, but you should have no problems installing in f17/f18.

Cool! The triceratops resizable gui should be an example for other (future) plugin developers.
Good to see new stuff coming. How about some oldies: Has the complete mda-lv2 collection reached Fedora yet?

Yes it has: lv2-mdala-plugins
SRPM's for stutter, deathcrush and minaton can be found here as well:

I see all the other SRPMs you mention, but don't see this one?
How did/do you handle the fact that there already is lv2-mdaEPiano package? Will that one be deprecated? Does it not conflict with each other?

I just realized this has been approved but I have not submitted a build for it yet! Thanks for the reminder, will submit an update today.
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=373344 (rawhide) And pending f18/f17 builds http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=4798786 http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=4798790
They are in separate bundles so there is no conflict, but I should probably deprecate mdaEPiano eventually

Pushed to updates testing now (f17 and f18 only):

BTW: many of these newer LV2 plugins will not work with zynjacku. Zynjacku is pretty much outdated. I use jalv.gtk for testing these LV2 plugins, which is much less user friendly, but it works. Qtractor is ok too.
I hope some developer will pick up the development of zynjacku to make it work with the latest LV2 plugins.
