Hi all,
does anyone have any objection to a new comps group containing packages currently present in the Fedora Jam audio spin?
We will be discussing names further within the music creation SIG / fedora-music mailing list soon, but Audio Production or Music Creation are two that immediately spring to mind. Suggestions welcome.
regards
Brendan

I've done this in rawhide only for the moment. See attached. String freeze has been extended to August 12.

I have tested the group in Rawhide and all seemed to work OK so I've added to F21 as well.
I have simply just set all of the packages in the group to "default" (mandatory/optional being the other values). This means they will be all selected in the installer when adding this group.
Should hit f21 in the next day or so, and then you can do: yum groupinstall "Audio Production"
As we add new audio packages, they will have to be added to the group as well.

Brendan

This has now made it to F21 and F20. However, only the group is defined in F20, it will not be presented to the user on installation (in the Applications list), though yum groupinstall "Audio Production" will still work.
