Sure it is, it was a sanity check. I'm able to trigger the same
compilation warnings when I do a configure without --enable-notmuch,
build and then configure with --enable-notmuch and build. So it's a
relic from the previous build.

So 'make distclean' or maintainerclean should clean it and a fresh
configure & make will work (tested here).
