These three patches tighten the behavior around handling of the startmode
(ONBOOT/HOTPLUG) and MTU for bridges and bonds.
The startmode is now explicitly set on slave interfaces, so that you have a
bridge with ONBOOT=yes, it's guaranteed that all slaves have that, too.
At least for bridges, it makes no sense to have the MTU on the bridge
device different from that of the slaves; therefore, we only allow setting
MTU for the toplevel bridge interface and propagate it to the slave
interfaces. I believe that should be the same for bonds - at least, there's
no real way to set different MTU on the bond and slaves with initscripts.
I just pushed these patches, too.
