We have enough packages related to computational neuroscience now to
start working on a spin. Would anyone like to take over the "spin
master" responsibilities? Of course, the whole team will pitch in, but
it'll be useful to have a "leader" that keeps their eye on the spin and
ensures we do our jobs :)
It'll perhaps be best to create a comps group for comp-neuro software:
and then use that to create a "labs" image that users can download and
work with straight away:
The skills the spin master will need/learn:
- understanding of how comps works:
- understanding how spins/labs are generated:
- knowledge of git (everything is on git now)
- knowledge of kickstart files:
Comments, ideas, volunteers?
