How is the power button being prevented?
If the problem is that an early termination is indistinguishable from a
test success, why not change runin accordingly? I'm happy to do that if
needed.

The "two heads are better than one" release.
This is the first build on our way to what will ultimately become the
12.1.0 release. Its based on rawhide and the testing I did on my
XO-1.5 provides all basic working functionality including Sugar,
GNOME, networking, camera etc. gnome-shell with associated bits to
test running it using SW rendering isn't included in this release but
I'll work to get this in place for the next build.
Some of the details of this release are:
- Fedora rawhide (it will become Fedora 17)
- Sugar 0.95.2
- gnome 3.3.2
- NetworkManager 0.9.2
- evince 3.3.2 with upstreamed go-i bindings for Read
- kernel 3.1.1
- OFW q3b23 for XO 1.5
- OFW q2f05 for XO 1
- Xorg Xserver 1.12 RC1
Known issues:
- no pretty boot (hold down the Check key to see output)
- Browse doesn't work
- Read doesn't work
- Help doesn't work

Good question. This should be put on a Wiki page.

Actually, I just realized that I've been seeing the "stuck in suspend"
crash on B1s, which don't have hardware signaling of the CPU status
to the EC. Can an EC hacker confirm that the EC will continue to
think the system is in suspend until the EC talks to it ?
If this is true, then the "stuck in suspend" issue may actually
be the same as "hung in early resume".
Cheers,
wad

The "suspense resume" build, featuring suspend resume that may or may
not resume.
Download from:
http://build.laptop.org/11.3.1/os10/
Bugs fixed:
#11379 PS/2 mouse, keyboard wedged after suspend/resume cycle
#11395 Implement Linux Suspend/Resume on MMP2 (still unstable)
Notes:
- Incomplete fix for #11327 runin-sus -- needs to support XO-1.75
- Only runin and kernel have changed.
- Kernel is from wmb's pm4-wmb branch, with no_console_suspend, as
per http://dev.laptop.org/git/olpc-kernel/tag/?id=arm-3.0-11.3.1-os9
cheers,

Filed as #11407 - it is due to bootanim.

The delays are due to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=660637
The fix should fall into rawhide at some point in the near future.
Thanks,

The "Throw away your televisions" release.
This is the first build on our way to what will ultimately become the
12.1.0 release. Its based on rawhide and the testing I did on my
XO-1.5 provides all basic working functionality including Sugar,

Some of the details of this release are:
- Fedora rawhide (it will become Fedora 17)
- Sugar 0.95.1
- initial patches for NetworkManager 0.9
- gnome 3.3.1
- kernel 3.x
- systemd plus olpc dependant services migrated thanks to dsd
- Surf included initially until we get a working Browse
Known issues:
- 3G modems currently don't work within Sugar
- Browse doesn't work
- Read doesn't work
- Help doesn't work
