Eoin,
that sound s a bit strange, but may be you have different problems here.

You can check easily if it was caused by these DLLs. Uninstall the
software, remove the DLLs and try the new version 1.7 - there all the
new data are included, installation is done automatically (and should
be done completely and correctly).
I make a project on the windows box, and when trying to debug, it
doesn't update any text fields.
I also have an analogue clock tied to a unixtime output from the clock
element - it doesn't display.
Does this also happen in OpenPlayer or in OpenDebugger only?
After a few tries, the debugger seems to hang - windows doesn't
report
it as 'not responding' but I can't exit using the button at top - task
manager is the only way to close it.
Is there a possibility to get that project? Means is it possible for
you to remove all dependencies to external hardware and data sources
so that I can test it here? If yes please send it to
openapc(at)gmail(dot)com directly, We'll have a look what's going on
there.
I rebooted - and when trying to open the same project on the same
system
- openAPC reports it cannot find any of the flowplugins in the project.
Using file explorer I can see them in the flowplugin folder of openapc
though.
That's very strange. The OpenAPC applications simply takes a look into
the flowplugin and hmiplugin folders within its working directory - so
when you start them correctly out of their installation directory they
should find all their plug-ins. And at the moment I really don't know
what a reboot could change here...
Creating a new project, with jsut the clock element and analogue
display...
In debug, the analogue display doesn't update, and the 'ative flows'
count in the debugger increments every second.
That sounds a bit like an endles loop. Normally they are suppressed
automatically but in some cases of data flow indirection you still can
construct them. So when you use an output of one element as input for
an other one and its output itself (later) is an input for the first
one this can cause such a loop.
The watch screen shows data on the unixtime output and the string
output
of the clock
Same question here: do you have the same behaviour when running it in
OpenPlayer?
Kind regards
Jim
Any ideas?
Haven't reinstalled yet.
