RiyafaYours sincerely,Thank you.Hi,Yes I have joined the Fedora hubs mailing list and the IRC. I am really keen to get started. I have been attempting to create a Fedora account[1]. This would sound silly but I am not sure why that every time I type the captcha I get the error: "captcha: Incorrect value. " :). As was suggested by Justin I would like to start earning some badges and get started on the proposal. Please kindly help me on this.

How are things going? Have you been able to join the fedora-hubs mailing list and IRC? I'm ready to give you next steps once you've done that!
Thanks,
~m

Greetings, Riyafa! Welcome to the Fedora Outreachy mailing list. Glad to
have you here. :)
So for this round, it looks like we will have one slot for Fedora Hubs.
I think Máirín can probably advise specifically about forming a
proposal. But here's some useful resources to help you get started with
the Fedora community and the Fedora Hubs project!
To get a feel for the Fedora community, I would recommend checking out
Fedora Badges:
https://badges.fedoraproject.org/about
You can earn badges for doing various tasks and completing certain
milestones in Fedora. There's a ticket that outlines some of the best
badges for beginners here:
https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-badges/ticket/409
I would take a look at the following badges and see if you can try to
start picking some of these up. This will help get you "bootstrapped"
and ready to contribute to Fedora.
* Baby Badger
* Crypto Badger / Crypto Panda
* Curious Penguin
* Involvement
* Mugshot
* Speak-up!
* Macaron Cookie
* Origin
* Junior Tagger
* Junior Package Tagger
* White Rabbit
For the Fedora Hubs project specifically, I would start by subscribing
to the mailing list for Hubs and also joining the IRC channel on
Freenode. That info is here:
* Mailing list:
https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/hubs-devel@lis ts.fedoraproject.org/
* IRC channel: #fedora-hubs on irc.freenode.net
* IRC beginner's guide: https://fedoramagazine.org/beginners-guide-irc/
Here's a few more "pages to know" for Hubs as well:
http://hubs-dev.fedorainfracloud.org/
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Hubs
https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs
https://devyani7kota.wordpress.com/2016/08/29/fedora-hubs- getting-started/
Hope this is all helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please
let us know and we would be happy to answer them. :) Hopefully Máirín
can give specifics on a Hubs proposal.
