thanks for taking the time to test Open Video Chat.  The white screen you experienced is a known bug we're working on.  This happens when some of the header packets are lost.  We're working on implementing Farsight which would use RTP to send the header packets reliably.  To get around this you can restart the Open Video Chat Activity.  Usually it will connect after a couple tries.
