Fedora 12 Update: guitarix-0.08.0-1.fc12
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2010-8647
2010-05-17 17:44:47
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : guitarix
Product : Fedora 12
Version : 0.08.0
Release : 1.fc12
URL : http://guitarix.sourceforge.net/
Summary : Mono amplifier to JACK
Description :
Guitarix is a simple mono amplifier to be used in a 'JACKified' environment,
i.e. a system using the JACK Audio Connection Kit, a professionally-capable
audio/MIDI server and master transport control.
Guitarix provides one JACK input port and two JACK output ports. It is designed
to produce nice trash/metal/rock/blues guitar sounds. Controls for bass, treble,
gain, compressor, preamp, balance, distortion, freeverb, crybaby (wah) and echo
are available. A fixed resonator is used when distortion is disabled. To modify
the sound 'pressure', you can use the feedback and feedforward sliders.
Guitarix includes an experimental tuner and a JACK MIDI output port with 3
channels. They are fed by a mix from a pitch tracker and a beat detector. You
can pitch the octave (2 octaves up or down), choose the MIDI channel, the MIDI
program, the velocity and the sensitiviy, which translates into how fast the
note will read after the beat detector emits a signal. Values for the beat
detector can be set for all channels.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
guitarix (0.08.0) * new portmap window * add Quad Filter * add Moog
Filter * add Flanger * add new post processing tube3 * add two 10 band
parametric EQ's * add oversample mode selector * fix some bugs in midi out

tuner unit with new interface (analogue Style needle meter) * Midi controller
connections could saved with in presets and/or general * a editable Midi

could be used like sliders (press ctrl + mouse-button and move the mouse
horizontal, leave the ctrl and hold mouse-button for fine tune), or like real
knobs (turn them around) * convolution unit based on zita-convolver is now
integrated in the engine * presets could change with Midi Program Messages
* I'm sure I have some things forgotten to mention here.

Fedora 11 Update: latexmk-4.16a-1.fc11
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2010-8722
2010-05-18 20:48:35
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : latexmk
Product : Fedora 11
Version : 4.16a
Release : 1.fc11
URL : http://www.phys.psu.edu/~collins/software/latexmk-jcc/
Summary : A make-like utility for LaTeX files
Description :
Latexmk is a perl script for running LaTeX the correct number of times to
resolve cross references, etc.; it also runs auxiliary programs (bibtex,
makeindex if necessary, and dvips and/or a previewer as requested). It has
a number of other useful capabilities, for example to start a previewer and
then run latex whenever the source files are updated, so that the previewer
gives an up-to-date view of the document. The script runs on both UNIX and
MS-WINDOWS (95, ME, XP, etc). This script is a corrected and improved
version of the original version of latexmk.
Before using a previewer, read the file README.fedora.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Upstream update notes: 1. Solved a problem with misparsed log files. Some
versions of pdflatex fail to precede some warning messages by a new line. Thus
these warning messages sometimes appear to be part of a filename. 2. Updated
documentation to mention previously undocumented feature about the use of
temporary files in making ps and pdf files. 3. Sanity check on $sleep_time.
(Negative times and times between 0 and 1 are replaced by 1.) 4. Corrected
problem under preview-continuous mode that some previewers would not see the
changed file on an NFS file system.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name : latexmk
Product : Fedora 13
Version : 4.16a
Release : 1.fc13
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ChangeLog:
* Mon May 24 2010 Jerry James <loganjerry(a)gmail.com> - 4.16a-1
- Update to 4.16a (solves problem with preview files on NFS filesystems)
* Mon May 17 2010 Jerry James <loganjerry(a)gmail.com> - 4.16-1
