Name : topgit
Product : Fedora 14
Version : 0.9
Release : 0.2.git9b25e848.fc14
URL : http://repo.or.cz/w/topgit.git?a=blob;f=README
Summary : A different patch queue manager
Description :
TopGit aims to make handling of large amount of interdependent topic
branches easier. In fact, it is designed especially for the case when
you maintain a queue of third-party patches on top of another (perhaps
Git-controlled) project and want to easily organize, maintain and
submit them - TopGit achieves that by keeping a separate topic branch
for each patch and providing few tools to maintain the branches.

Fedora 14 Update: libint-1.1.4-3.fc14
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2010-18389
2010-12-01 21:30:45
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : libint
Product : Fedora 14
Version : 1.1.4
Release : 3.fc14
URL : http://www.files.chem.vt.edu/chem-dept/valeev/software/libint/libint.html
Summary : A library for computing electron repulsion integrals efficiently
Description :
LIBINT computes the Coulomb and exchange integrals, which in electronic
structure theory are called electron repulsion integrals (ERIs). This is by
far the most common type of integrals in molecular structure theory.
LIBINT uses recursive schemes that originate in seminal Obara-Saika method and
Head-Gordon and Pople’s variation thereof. The idea of LIBINT is to optimize
computer implementation of such methods by implementing an optimizing compiler
to generate automatically highly-specialized code that runs well on
super-scalar architectures.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Increased value of maximum angular momentum libint can handle to I-type functions.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ChangeLog:
* Tue Nov 30 2010 Jussi Lehtola <jussi.lehtola(a)iki.fi> - 1.1.4-3
- Increase maximum angular momentum values by 2, making it possible to
use basis sets that use up to I-type functions, such as Dunning's cc-pVXZ
basis sets.
- Split libderiv and libr12 into their own packages, as e.g. PyQuante currently
only needs the libint library.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This update can be installed with the "yum" update program. Use
su -c 'yum update libint' at the command line.

available at http://docs.fedoraproject.org/yum/.

Fedora 14 Update: PyQuante-1.6.3-7.174svn.fc14
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2010-18389
2010-12-01 21:30:45
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : PyQuante
Product : Fedora 14
Version : 1.6.3
Release : 7.174svn.fc14
URL : http://pyquante.sourceforge.net/
Summary : Python Quantum Chemistry
Description :
PyQuante is an open-source suite of programs for developing quantum chemistry
methods. The program is written in the Python programming language, but has
many "rate-determining" modules also written in C for speed. The resulting
code, though not as fast as Jaguar, NWChem, Gaussian, or GAMESS, is much
easier to understand and modify. The goal of this software is not necessarily
to provide a working quantum chemistry program (although it will hopefully do
that), but rather to provide a well-engineered set of tools so that scientists
can construct their own quantum chemistry programs without going through the
tedium of having to write every low-level routine.
You might want to install PyQuante-libint as well, which speeds up the
calculation of two-electron integrals.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Increased value of maximum angular momentum libint can handle to I-type functions.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ChangeLog:
* Thu Dec 2 2010 Jussi Lehtola <jussilehtola(a)fedoraproject.org> - 1.6.3-7.174svn
- Rebuild against libint, which was recompiled to support basis sets of
larger angular momentum.
* Wed Dec 1 2010 Jussi Lehtola <jussilehtola(a)fedoraproject.org> - 1.6.3-6.174svn
- Added Requires: openbabel.
- Split libint library in a separate package due to the resulting binary
being GPLv2+ licensed.
* Wed Nov 3 2010 Jussi Lehtola <jussilehtola(a)fedoraproject.org> - 1.6.3-5.174svn
- Switch to using an SVN snapshot.
- Build against libint.
- Run tests.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

su -c 'yum update PyQuante' at the command line.

Name : hwloc
Product : Fedora 14
Version : 1.1
Release : 0.fc14
URL : http://www.open-mpi.org/projects/hwloc/
Summary : Portable Hardware Locality - portable abstraction of hierarchical architectures
Description :
The Portable Hardware Locality (hwloc) software package provides
a portable abstraction (across OS, versions, architectures, ...)
of the hierarchical topology of modern architectures, including
NUMA memory nodes, shared caches, processor sockets, processor cores
and processing units (logical processors or "threads"). It also gathers
various system attributes such as cache and memory information. It primarily
aims at helping applications with gathering information about modern
computing hardware so as to exploit it accordingly and efficiently.
hwloc may display the topology in multiple convenient formats.
It also offers a powerful programming interface (C API) to gather information
about the hardware, bind processes, and much more.
