Fedora 16 Update: qlandkartegt-1.5.3-1.fc16
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2012-16350
2012-10-18 00:01:44
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : qlandkartegt
Product : Fedora 16
Version : 1.5.3
Release : 1.fc16
URL : http://www.qlandkarte.org/
Summary : GPS device mapping tool
Description :
QLandkarte GT is the ultimate outdoor aficionado's tool for GPS maps in
GeoTiff format as well as Garmin's img vector map format. Additional it is
the PC side frontend to QLandkarte M, a moving map application for mobile
devices. And it fills the gap Garmin leaves in refusing to support Linux.
QLandkarte GT is the proof that writing portable applications for Unix,
Windows and OSX is feasible with a minimum of overhead. No excuses!
QLandkarte GT does replace the original QLandkarte with a much more
flexible architecture. It's not limited to a map format or device. Thus
if you think your Magellan GPS or other should be supported, join the team.
Additionally it is a front end to the GDAL tools, to make georeferencing
scanned maps feasible for the normal user. Compared to similar tools like
QGis, it's target users are more on the consumer side than on the scientific
one. QLandkarte GT might not let you select every possible feature of the
GDAL tools, but it will simplify their use to the demands of most users.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
update to version 1.5.3 with these changes:
- Fixing extension and format when storing QR Code for waypoints
- Fix: Bad Position in EXIF header causes crash.
- Enhance import for georeferenced images
- Read and display direction from georeferenced images
- Reference pictures by timestamp and track
- Reference pictures by position and track
- Add proxy authentication

Name : ikiwiki
Product : Fedora 17
Version : 3.20121017
Release : 1.fc17
URL : http://ikiwiki.info/
Summary : A wiki compiler
Description :
Ikiwiki is a wiki compiler. It converts wiki pages into HTML pages
suitable for publishing on a website. Ikiwiki stores pages and history
in a revision control system such as Subversion or Git. There are many
other features, including support for blogging, as well as a large
array of plugins.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Update to the latest stable version. Upstream changelog:
* monochrome: New theme, contributed by Jon Dowland.
* rst: Ported to python 3, while still also being valid python 2. Thanks, W. Trevor King
* Try to avoid a situation in which so many ikiwiki cgi wrapper programs are running, all waiting on some long-running thing like a site rebuild, that it prevents the web server from doing anything else. The current approach only avoids this problem for GET requests; if multiple cgi's run GETs on a site at the same time, one will display a "please wait" page for a configurable number of seconds, which then redirects to retry. To enable this protection, set cgi_overload_delay to the number of seconds to wait. This is not enabled by default.
* Add back a 1em margin between archivepage divs.
* recentchangesdiff: Correct broken template that resulted in duplicate diff icons being displayed, and bloated the recentchanges page with inline diffs when the configuration should have not allowed them.
* recentchangesdiff: fix further breakage to the template from 3.20120725
