Fedora 17 Update: python-anfft-0.2-1.fc17
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2012-10542
2012-07-11 23:12:46
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : python-anfft
Product : Fedora 17
Version : 0.2
Release : 1.fc17
URL : http://anfft.googlecode.com/
Summary : ANFFT is an FFT package for Python, based on FFTW
Description :
ANFFT is intended to be used in situations where large numbers
of expensive FFTs must be performed, and for which the speed
of the built-in NumPy or SciPy functions has been found insufficient.
By default, ANFFT provides immediate results by using FFTW's
"estimate" mode, which does not require tuning and is still very fast.
However, each high-level function provides a keyword named "measure"
which will invoke the full FFTW planning machinery.
FFTW will investigate which implementations are fastest on your
hardware for the given problem size, and ANFFT will transparently
cache this information to speed up later transforms on arrays of
the same size and type. Accumulated FFTW "wisdom" about which
methods work best is stored across Python sessions in a configuration
file in ~/.anfft
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Adds single-precision real transforms

Name : 389-adminutil
Product : Fedora 17
Version : 1.1.15
Release : 3.fc17
URL : http://port389.org/wiki/AdminUtil
Summary : Utility library for 389 administration
Description :
389-adminutil is libraries of functions used to administer directory
servers, usually in conjunction with the admin server. 389-adminutil is
broken into two libraries - libadminutil contains the basic
functionality, and libadmsslutil contains SSL versions and wrappers
around the basic functions. The PSET functions allow applications to
store their preferences and configuration parameters in LDAP, without
having to know anything about LDAP. The configuration is cached in a
local file, allowing applications to function even if the LDAP server
is down. The other code is typically used by CGI programs used for
directory server management, containing GET/POST processing code as
well as resource handling (ICU ures API).

Name : easybashgui
Product : Fedora 16
Version : 4.0.3
Release : 3.fc16
URL : https://sites.google.com/site/easybashgui/
Summary : Bash function library
Description :
EasyBashGUI is a bash function library that aims to give simple GUI functions
using gtkdialog, kdialog, zenity, Xdialog, dialog, or whiptail depending on
KDE or GNOME running or not, Gtkdialog or Xdialog installed or not and X server
running or not ( (c)dialog or whiptail is the minimum ). So, if bash programmer
writes: "message 'Thanks for using this program' ", he has not to worry in which
environment his program runs: it is enough there is at least (c)dialog or
whiptail installed, and program will work as expected. Obviously, if user has
KDE, GNOME, or gtkdialog/Xdialog also installed ( and he's in a X session ),
program will have "an other look", but logical flow is *exactly* the same. In
EasyBashGUI "suite" there are a library ( "easybashgui_X.X.X" ), a script to
quick test it ( "easybashgui_test.sh" ), and a stand-alone script to create
dialog boxes externally ( "easydialog.sh" ).
