-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2023-f71507e281 2023-10-09 22:25:35.208354 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : dracut Product : Fedora 39 Version : 059 Release : 14.fc39 URL : https://github.com/dracutdevs/dracut/wiki/ Summary : Initramfs generator using udev Description : dracut contains tools to create bootable initramfses for the Linux kernel. Unlike other implementations, dracut hard-codes as little as possible into the initramfs. dracut contains various modules which are driven by the event-based udev. Having root on MD, DM, LVM2, LUKS is supported as well as NFS, iSCSI, NBD, FCoE with the dracut-network package.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information:
This update backports a fix that prevented boot using the iso-scan feature (which lets you boot from a device, usually a USB stick, containing an ISO image file) from working correctly. The bug affects the OS contained in the ISO image, so Fedora images built with this version of dracut or later should boot correctly when using this feature. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog:
