-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2020-d14412c110 2020-08-21 01:10:07.807329 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : perl-Getopt-Long Product : Fedora 32 Version : 2.52 Release : 1.fc32 URL : https://metacpan.org/release/Getopt-Long Summary : Extended processing of command line options Description : The Getopt::Long module implements an extended getopt function called GetOptions(). It parses the command line from @ARGV, recognizing and removing specified options and their possible values. It adheres to the POSIX syntax for command line options, with GNU extensions. In general, this means that options have long names instead of single letters, and are introduced with a double dash "--". Support for bundling of command line options, as was the case with the more traditional single-letter approach, is provided but not enabled by default.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information:
This release fixes reporting an invalid ":s%" options specifier and a documentation. It also adds a mew "given" method to a callback object to return the name of the option passed by a user. It also improves the tests. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog:
