Product : Fedora 30
Version : 1.2.1.2
Release : 3.fc30
URL :

Summary : The Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) library
Description :
The Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) provides audio and MIDI
functionality to the Linux operating system.
This package includes the ALSA runtime libraries to simplify application
programming and provide higher level functionality as well as support for
the older OSS API, providing binary compatibility for most OSS programs.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
The most enhancements are in the alsa library. There is the support for the new
extended Use Case Manager configuration syntax which should help with the
Intel's SOF DSP driver. All hardware which uses UCM should be retested. The
alsa-firmware contains new firmware files for Creative CA0132 HD-Audio Codec and
Intel's SOF DSP driver. The pulse plugin in the alsa-plugins package can specify
the specific pulse device.
