Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2014-9018
2014-07-30 20:57:09
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : owncloud
Product : Fedora 20
Version : 6.0.4
Release : 3.fc20
URL :
http://owncloud.org
Summary : Private file sync and share server
Description :
ownCloud gives you universal access to your files through a web interface or
WebDAV. It also provides a platform to easily view & sync your contacts,
calendars and bookmarks across all your devices and enables basic editing right
on the web. ownCloud is extendable via a simple but powerful API for
applications and plugins.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
This update removes the upstream 'updater' app for upgrading OwnCloud, which
cannot work with a packaged OwnCloud installation but could very likely break it. Also, it
changes how Fedora's default OwnCloud configuration is shipped; previously we were
patching upstream's sample configuration, which led to us setting some configuration
parameters that were inappropriate. We now simply ship a stub configuration that specifies
only the parameters which differ in our packaged OwnCloud. OwnCloud's defaults, or the
values entered or generated at first run, will be used for all other parameters. This
should fix the bug which prevented access to new deployments of OwnCloud 6.0.2+ after the
first run due to a bogus 'trusted_domains' setting.
