Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2010-10886
2010-07-07 16:47:13
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : xemacs
Product : Fedora 13
Version : 21.5.29
Release : 13.fc13
URL :
http://www.xemacs.org/
Summary : Different version of Emacs
Description :
XEmacs is a highly customizable open source text editor and
application development system. It is protected under the GNU General
Public License and related to other versions of Emacs, in particular
GNU Emacs. Its emphasis is on modern graphical user interface support
and an open software development model, similar to Linux.
This package contains XEmacs built for X Windows with MULE support.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
This update provides db4 support so that where-was-i-db will work. It creates a
new xemacs-xft subpackage containing an Xft- and fontconfing-enabled xemacs
binary. The binary is named "xemacs-xft", but alternatives can be used to make
it /usr/bin/xemacs. Finally, the update sets more X keyboard defaults on Fedora
so that some fallbacks are enabled when the keyboard layout cannot be
determined.
