maybe thunar thumbnails. But I don't have a running thunar or nautilus in general.
This seems to be an error in the underlying thunar-vfs layer. Ristretto uses

In xfce there is also no image opened in ristretto.

Sorry, I don't see anything like that here in my F7 machine. When do these errors appear?
When starting ristretto, they appear on the console.
