Summary: Review Request: pstoedit
Product: Fedora Extras
Version: devel
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: normal
Component: Package Review
AssignedTo: bugzilla-sink(a)leemhuis.info
ReportedBy: denis(a)poolshark.org
QAContact: fedora-package-review(a)redhat.com
Spec URL: http://www.poolshark.org/src/pstoedit.spec
SRPM URL: http://www.poolshark.org/src/pstoedit-3.44-1.src.rpm
Description: Translates PostScript and PDF graphics into other vector formats
Pstoedit converts PostScript and PDF files to various vector graphic
formats. The resulting files can be edited or imported into various
drawing packages. Pstoedit comes with a large set of integrated format
drivers.
Misc notes :
- The main goal of having pstoedit in Extras is for the benefit of inkscape. See bug 175257.
- You'll notice the call to make doesn't use the _smp_flags macros. That's intentional, pstoedit's autoconf setup doesn't like parallel builds. Bug filed upstream.

Summary: Review Request: libxml- Old libXML library for Gnome-1
application compatibility
Product: Fedora Extras
Version: devel
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW

Priority: normal
Component: Package Review
AssignedTo: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
ReportedBy: paul(a)city-fan.org
QAContact: fedora-package-review(a)redhat.com
Spec URL: http://www.city-fan.org/~paul/extras/Gnome-1/libxml.spec
SRPM URL: http://www.city-fan.org/~paul/extras/Gnome-1/libxml-1.8.17-14.src.rpm
Description:
This library allows old Gnome-1 applications to manipulate XML files.
This package was removed from Core for FC6 and I am submitting it to Extras to support the people that still need it for legacy applications. I used recent rawhide SRPM and then tweaked it for Extras and to suit my own cosmetic preferences. Reviewers may consider using rpmdiff to compare the built packages with the versions in Fedora Core 5.
