Bug ID: 1268881
Summary: Review Request: perl-Coro-Multicore - Make coro
threads on multiple cores with specially supported
modules
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: Package Review
Severity: medium
Priority: medium
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: ppisar(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Spec URL:
https://ppisar.fedorapeople.org/perl-Coro-Multicore/perl-Coro-Multicore.spec
SRPM URL:
https://ppisar.fedorapeople.org/perl-Coro-Multicore/perl-Coro-Multicore-0.0…
Description:
While Coro threads (unlike ithreads) provide real threads similar to
pthreads, python threads and so on, they do not run in parallel to each
other even on machines with multiple CPUs or multiple CPU cores.
This module lifts this restriction under two very specific but useful
conditions: firstly, the coro thread executes in XS code and does not
touch any perl data structures, and secondly, the XS code is specially
prepared to allow this.

Summary: Review Request: perl-TeX-Encode - Encoding to LaTeX
escapes
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: Package Review
Severity: medium
Priority: medium
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: tcallawa(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Spec URL: https://spot.fedorapeople.org/perl-TeX-Encode.spec
SRPM URL: https://spot.fedorapeople.org/perl-TeX-Encode-1.3-1.fc23.src.rpm
Description:
This module provides encoding to LaTeX escapes from utf8 using mapping tables
in Pod::LaTeX and HTML::Entities. This covers only a subset of the Unicode
character table (undef warnings will occur for non-mapped chars).
Mileage will vary when decoding (converting LaTeX to utf8), as LaTeX is in
essence a programming language, and this module does not implement LaTeX.

Summary: Review Request: preprocess - A portable multi-language
file Python2 preprocessor
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: Package Review
Severity: medium
Priority: medium
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: anto.trande(a)gmail.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Spec URL: https://sagitter.fedorapeople.org/preprocess/preprocess.spec
SRPM URL:
https://sagitter.fedorapeople.org/preprocess/preprocess-1.2-1.20150629git30…
Description: There are millions of templating systems out there (most of them
developed for the web).
This isn't one of those, though it does share some basics:
a markup syntax for templates that are processed to give resultant text output.
The main difference with preprocess.py is that its syntax is hidden in comments
(whatever the syntax for comments maybe in the target filetype)
so that the file can still have valid syntax.
A comparison with the C preprocessor is more apt.
preprocess.py is targetted at build systems that deal with many types of files.
Languages for which it works include: C++, Python, Perl, Tcl, XML, JavaScript,
CSS, IDL, TeX, Fortran, PHP, Java, Shell scripts (Bash, CSH, etc.) and C#.
Preprocess is usable both as a command line app and as a Python module.

Summary: Review Request: nodejs-encoding - Convert encodings,
uses iconv by default and fallbacks to iconv-lite if
needed
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: Package Review
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: pnemade(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Spec URL: http://pnemade.fedorapeople.org/fedora-work/nodejs-encoding.spec
SRPM URL:
http://pnemade.fedorapeople.org/fedora-work/nodejs-encoding-0.1.11-1.fc23.s…
Description:
encoding is a simple wrapper around node-iconv and iconv-lite to convert
strings from one encoding to another. If node-iconv is not available for
some reason, iconv-lite will be used instead of it as a fallback.

--- Comment #12 from Miroslav Suchý <msuchy(a)redhat.com> ---
The description should be wrapped to 80 characters.
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Guidelines#Summary_and_description
You should provide the spec file which you really used for building SRC.RPM.
Your spec use dist tag macro, while your src.rpm file contains spec which have
value of dist tag hardcoded.
Any reason why AUTHORS NEWS are not included in binary package?
I would recommend to use:
%doc README AUTHORS NEWS
buffer.x86_64: E: incorrect-fsf-address /usr/share/licenses/buffer/COPYING
You should containt upstream so they update they license file. However, you
should not alter the file yourself!
